What is a Chiffon Cake?

A chiffon cake is a type of foam cake made with vegetable oil, eggs, sugar, flour, baking powder, and flavourings. It gets its unique texture from whipped egg whites that are folded into the batter before baking.

Texture: Light, airy, and soft — like a sponge, but moister.
Flavour: Mildly sweet and delicate, great with fruit, cream, or glazes.
Moisture: Stays moist longer than butter cakes because it’s made with oil.
Structure: Holds its shape well but is still fluffy and tender.

Chiffon cakes take on flavors beautifully — from lemon, orange, and vanilla to coffee or chocolate. They’re also perfect as layer cakes, roll cakes, or frosted celebration cakes because they hold shape but stay soft.

We pair our chiffons with a beautiful melt in your mouth chantilly cream (little to no sugar) and pack it with flavour and some with a lot of fresh fruit perfect to compliment your healthy diet, hot sunny picnic days or with a glass of bubbles over good conversations with loved ones.
